The quartets and quintets below are all played back by my computer using Finale software (2007 version) and the scores do not include dynamics, expression or articulation; just flat notation. It would be too time consuming to enter all the above into the scores without a clear need to do so. They are included here only to show the general structure. Those scores that have been printed and are being played by actual orchestras include all the necessary information within them. The music below has been added to the site just for fun and I apologize for not finishing them.

Here's an orchestral piece broken out as a quintet for 1st and 2nd orchestral harps, viola (played pizzacato), cello and contrabass. It's in the keys of C Major and D Minor. It's one of my favorite compositions. It came to me as I gazed in awe at the beauty of a dichotomous moon.

I recently found an old Sonatina for stringed quartet that I composed when I was nineteen years of age. I lived in "The Little Brown House" in Keene, NY and was engaged in a flurry of composing orchestral works in preparation for college. I was working summer days for an auctioneer / scrap iron dealer, and my days off from working for him I would spend caddying at the Au Sable Club Golf Course in St. Huberts. I remember spending nearly every night "hidden" in my bedroom away from family and friends in an all out attempt at finishing this Opus 10 No. 1, Sonatina for Stringed Quartet. I never did finish the third "Vivace" part, although it was well underway when I left for school.

I've spent the better part of the last two days entering the notes into the computer to have the two violins, one viola and one cello play the piece as far as I'd written it.
