This Thursday night there's a jam session in Weber City, Virginia and another one in Marshall, North Carolina. They are both 47 miles from our house. The one in NC is hosted by Bobby Hicks each week at the Zuma Coffee House at 7 North Main Street. We'll probably go there this Thursday and then head for Weber City next Thursday just because I'd like to say "Hi" to Bobby, again.
Friday night there's a jam session right here in Greeneville, TN, and Saturday will see us back at Newport, TN, in the afternoon and Rheatown in the evening. There's also a free Bluegrass Festival in Hot Springs, NC this Saturday.
I came down here to work on my next volume of banjo tunes and I sure am getting lots of banjo pickin' in.
The week is filling right in with more and more pickin'............wow, way to go!
