I'm sure we're being spoiled after the killing frost we had the other night. But, as we've learned from living here in eastern Tennessee, the winters are not really all that brutal. A snowstorm with 2 feet deep of the white stuff doesn't really last all that long before the sunny sky melts it all away. And, there's a certain beauty with the mountain tops all covered in snow and the valley floors still green.
I actually saw two different people mowing their lawns today up in the Boone's Creek area! There is still an abundance of yard sales dotting the landscape.
