Due to scheduling problems, my band called "The Elderly Mountain Boys" will not be performing at the Clinchfield Senior Center in Erwin on Valentine's Day. Instead, another band I've formed and named "Lonesome Road South" will perform in their place. "Lonesome Road South" is comprised of yours truly on fiddle and banjo; Tim Decker on guitar and banjo; and Terry Tester on guitar, banjo and stand-up bass.
This band will play "Old-Time" fiddle tunes and claw-hammer banjo tunes as well as Bluegrass traditional tunes and songs. Tim and Terry do a wonderful job of creating beautiful harmonies and they both sing many of the old standbys.
The Seniors will be sure to enjoy this group because it just has "Mountain Music" written all over it!
