The Food Stamp Ramblers will be playing a 1-hour set followed later by The Perkins Family Band playing a 1 1/2 hour set live at the John Thurman Historical Society annual Fiddle Festival in Thurman, NY in upstate New York on Saturday, September 11th. FSR's set is at 2:00 p.m. and The PFB starts at 6:30 p.m.
The Food Stamp Rambler's set will be the last live performance that yours truly, Fred Warner, performs as a Food Stamp Rambler and the next-to-last performance as a member of The Perkins Family Band as my schedule has become too busy to continue the commitment of practices and shows with these fine groups.
It has been a true honor to play with such talented musicians and I look forward to a jam session now and then to help us all keep in touch.
