Another Trip To Keith Williams' Fiddle Building Shop, 3/13/2019

Today, I had Keith Williams work on my 1834 fiddle. He put in a new sound post, replaced the old bridge, glued an area that had come loose around the chin rest, replaced a couple of strings and generally gave it the once over. The tone increased considerably by installing the new sound post in a sweeter spot than where I had it and by replacing the bridge with a better one.

A Trip to Keith's Shop

Recently, Henry Barnett, a life-long friend of Keith Williams, luthier, fiddler and man of the Lord, had me accompany him to Keith's fiddle building shop in Chuckey, Tennessee. Below are some of the photos I snapped while there.
