Our Trip Back to the North Country
Mary and I have been here in Tennessee for a year, now. Of course, after such a lengthy stay, we missed our families, relatives and friends, so we headed north to the Adirondacks to the towns of Au Sable Forks, Jay, Keene Valley, Wilmington, Lake Placid, Plattsburgh and Chazy to catch up on all the news and see our loved ones.
Our first stop was an overnight stay in Carlisle, PA, and then on to our next stop, a Bluegrass Festival in Coventryville, New York. From here, our travels took us north to Chazy, NY, where we spent a little over two weeks staying with our dear friends, Donnie and Pat Perkins. We stayed in their beautiful class C motor home and this became the hub from which we made our daily excursions.

Bluegrass Jamming and Dinner at the Perkins
The Perkins put on a really nice spread and Bluegrass jam at their home one night when we were up north. We got to see many of our friends while picking and partying. We also were guests at the Ezero's when they hosted a Bluegrass jam and dinner. Just can't beat the hospitality of these fine, long-time friends.
